Just a Few More Days...

| | Comments (23)

Wow, I can't believe we're just a few days away from Rhinebeck. I'm so excited that the weather is true fall weather -- last year's weather was just too warm for my taste.

Unlike past years, I don't have a list of vendors or yarns that I want to get. I think it's partly due to the size of my stash, but more likely due to the fact that I'm knitting a lot for Knotions now and most of that yarn is donated for the designs. I haven't used any yarn out of my stash since March! I keep thinking I need to organize it again and clean house, but we all know how much fun that can be (plus, the yarn will still be there next month, right?).

Now having said all that, I'm sure that I'll still come home with some yarn. I just don't have the willpower not to. As mathematical and logical as I can be at times, I know that the promise of shiny new projects in wonderful and hard-to-find yarns will just get the best of me.

BTW, if you're curious on my progress with my Rhinebeck sweater, here's a pic from yesterday.

Conflicted

I've made some more progress since then, but I still have quite a bit to do:

  • 12" on sleeve #2
  • yoke
  • hood
  • soak and block

If I have a chance of getting this done in time I have to finish sleeve #2 tonight. Why do I do this to myself *every* year?

Can't wait to see the finished product.
Maybe it could show up on Knotions...
Take pictures of Rhinebeck so that we can see everything and everyone
(great stuff for Knotions, maybe review...)

I'm going to be at Rhinebeck again too! I can't wait. It is going to be so fabulous to go away for a trip. I'll look out for you in case of being able to say hi in person!

Knotions is still very much in my back brain. I'm hoping someday soon to be able to submit an idea to you folks, just have to actually get up and do it! ;)
