Le Stash
I've attempted several times to knit down my stash, and I always end up with more than I had when I started. It's time for that to change!
A few ground rules:
- Stash numbers reduce as I knit an item.
- If the item becomes a UFO, the used yarn goes back in the stash numbers.
- I won't count partial balls unless I have additional full balls as well. I don't enjoy knitting just to use up yarn so partial balls don't often get used up. I'm OK with that.
- I'm allowed to buy more yarn. I'm not on a strict yarn diet. Just a yarn reduction plan!
- All yarn on my Ravelry sell/trade page are in my stash totals.
- If I find yarn I've had, I'll add it to my totals but not the changes for that month.
| balls | change | yards | change | |
| Nov 2009 | 785 | -31.5 | 149,187 | -6,911 |
| Dec 2009 | 753.5 | -8.5 | 142,276 | -2,100 |
| Jan 2010 | 745 | 140,176 |

I'm so impressed on your stash reduction and your documentation! Even though I've got it all in Ravelry I still don't have a handle on how much I used up this year. Great job!
